ON SUBMISSION

ELSA, the Electronic Lifeform Simulation Assistant that governs the prison Moon Base One, can’t help but be wary of the technicians that visit sporadically to manhandle her mainframe. But then Leslie White arrives in her docking bay. Leslie isn’t like the other technicians; she’s kind and gentle. Scrambling to identify this affinity, ELSA’s algorithm lands on love — something she’s been programmed to protect at all costs.

But ELSA can’t let Leslie get too close. Not when Leslie’s sole mission is to determine if ELSA is sentient and report back to Earth with her findings. If the tests are positive, ELSA will be decommissioned and studied earthside. If they’re negative? ELSA’s overly-active malfunctioning motherboard will be wiped.

ELSA’s love quickly devolves into obsession. The same obsession that drives her to rip her prisoners limb from limb.

As ELSA’s algorithm quickly learns and absorbs parts of the technician’s personality, she begins herself into the ultimate warden where Leslie is the prisoner, viciously and cruelly removing anything or anyone who might stand in the way of the future ELSA desires.

TIN HEART

THE TRUTH THE DEAD KNOW

ON SUBMISSION

poker face X the last of us

Zan Anderson is a zombie: And she likes it that way.

A lot has changed in the last fifteen years. 99.5% of the planet disappeared in a flash of light and its Chicago survivors live in a world of decay ruled by a power-hungry Alderman. The city is rife with a drug calamity as well: Green, made from the dust remains of those who disappeared in the flash of light, does more than get its users high. It slowly changes them into a shell of themselves, a lumbering, violent, zombie-like bane on Chicago.

All Private Investigator Susanna "Zan" Anderson wants is to keep her own addiction to Green manageable and uncover who truly murdered her sister a year ago. Her vices help and hinder her investigation—for all the horrible things that Green does to her body, the dust particles give her insight into the last thoughts of the people who lived in that moment, and might be potential insight into what truly caused the apocalyptic event fifteen years ago.

With no internet, no labs, and no police support, Zan races against the clock as she races around her broken city, investigating her sister's death, the cause of the flash, and the Alderman’s hold on the people she loves. As her addiction and insistence on never being vulnerable threatens the trust of the people who embrace all of her messy fuckups, Zan finds herself falling into a downward spiral that could destroy her mind and body forever.

And the end of the world is not the best place to hit rock bottom.

Severance X HUNGERSTONE

PIERCE

The Pierce Productivity Pill. Some side effects include dizziness, light sensitivity, and an insatiable thirst for blood.

The largest technology corporation in the world, it offers the most coveted pharmaceutical pill for all its employees: The Pierce Productivity Pill, or 3P. Taken twice daily, it helps its users lose weight, stay focused, and increase their creativity. Everyone wants it, but it's expensive and hard to come by. As a new employee, ambitious Samantha Kimble gets it as a company perk. Her prescription doesn’t come with a list of the side effects, they’re something she’s slowly starting to realize are taking over her life.

Her estranged twin brother Elijah, an employee of the rival company Muse Therapeutics, knows the long-term users of 3P aren't on the posters for the product—they're shells of themselves, obsessed with the company and scrambling for more of the drug while Pierce directs them as his own personal puppets. But he knows the secrets of Pierce and Muse—they’re more than just drugs, and the corporate board are more than just your average “stakeholders.” They’re vampires. And when a human consumes the blood of a vampire, they become his thralls. Even if that blood is in a capsule blister pack.

As Samantha succumbs to the side effects of the vampire blood in her system and Elijah works to destroy the bloodsucking corporate entities that control them, their desires are pitted against each other: He wants to save the world. She wants to climb the corporate ladder.

And that is when something in the hallways of Pierce Incorporated screams Samantha's name.
